Geodetic Designs is pleased to announce they
have acquired the assets of survey firm Fred White Engineering.
Continuing their rich history of more than 50 years of quality
service in the Greater Lansing region, Fred White Engineering
clients will now be exclusively served by the Geodetic Designs
team.
With the integration of the assets of the two firms, Geodetic
Designs has relocated into the former Fred White Engineering
facility at 2300 N. Grand River Ave. in Lansing. The larger
5000 square foot facility will allow the company to expand
their operations and services, offering clients a more personal
experience.
"We recognize that Fred White clients will continue
to expect the same personal service they received for decades,
and we look forward to welcoming them to Geodetic Designs,"
shared company president Gil Barish. "We also see this
as an exciting moment for our current clients, as the expanded
facility, additional equipment and added personnel will
allow us to increase our service and capabilities across
the board."
Prequalified for the Michigan Department of Transportation,
HAZWOPPER certified, and licensed to work in multiple states,

Geodetic Designs, Inc. was awarded a one year
as-needed surveying contract from the Michigan Department
of Transportation for the 3rd year in a row. Scoring in
the top 8 of all prequalified MDOT surveying firms in Michigan.
Geodetic Designs, Inc. is now licensed to survey in Illinois.

Geodetic Designs Inc. was awarded a one year as-needed surveying
contract from the Michigan Department of Transportation
for the 2nd year in a row.
All licensed surveyors at GDI are currently enrolled in
the Certified Federal Surveyor program and hope to obtain
certification by June, 2010.

by donating a voucher for $250 off professional surveying

from the Michigan Department of Transportation in designs
surveys, hydraulic surveys, structure surveys, construction
surveying, Photogrammetric surveying and geodetic control
surveys.
Geodetic Designs Inc. receives certificate of awardability
from the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. The certificate
is awarded to contractors that meet the requirements of
Section 209 of Public Act 453 for contracts with the State
of Michigan Department of Management and Budget.
