GILBERT M. BARISH, P.S.
Gil Barish is a licensed professional surveyor in Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio. Gil has worked for numerous clients in the private, municipal, and governmental markets over the past ten years.
He is a member
of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors, serving on the
Legislative Committee and the GIS/Geodetic Control Committee, a
board member for the Central Chapter of the Michigan Society of
Professional Surveyors, and a volunteer for the Lansing area Habitat
for Humanity.
Gil received his Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Engineering from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Business Management from Central Michigan University. He is also working towards licensure as a civil engineer in Michigan.
In the past, Gil served as a
survey group leader for Tetra Tech Inc. in Brighton, MI overseeing
the government surveying department. His department was in charge of
survey projects for the Michigan Department of Transportation, The
Federal Aviation Administration, The United States Army Corp of
Engineers, and various townships and government agencies. Gil
mobilized and supervised project teams of up to 20 Surveyors and
Engineers to complete projects ranging in construction values of
$750,000 to $34,000,000.
