COMPANY PROFILE
Geodetic Designs Incorporated (GDI) is a full
service design surveying consulting firm, providing services to
public and private sector clients in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
The company was founded by two licensed professional surveyors (David
Vandenberghe and Gil Barish) with a combined 27+ years of varied experience in the municipal, private and governmental markets.
The group works to provide
unprecedented service while maintaining a low operating overhead.
The firm prides itself on its ability to conduct all field and
office projects utilizing licensed professional surveyors. The
ability to utilize highly skilled staff minimizes delivery times,
the potential for errors, and provides of wealth of experience and
professionalism to each project completed by the firm.
The
proper use of the most advanced surveying technology is vital in the
success of a project. GDI utilizes real-time global positioning
systems, integrated processing software, and a variety of computer
drafting programs to facilitate the needs of our clients. Our
flexibility in deliverable methods and techniques allows our clients
a wealth of options for the use of the project data.
Mobility and
quickness remains one of the top priorities for most of our clients.
Our ability to travel great distances in a short period of time to
complete surveys is one of best abilities. As a smaller firm we are
able to meet the needs of much larger firms by rapidly responding to
survey requests. Our ability to process data and complete drawings
while on location, transmit data via email or project ftp site, and
provide project correspondence 24/7 allows GDI to maintain a strong
and healthy client base.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to
become one of the largest providers of land surveying services in
the greater Lansing area within the next 5 years. We will accomplish
this task by utilizing highly skilled employees, working with new
technology to deliver projects faster, and working closely with our
clients to meet project
deadlines.
